What app does it use?
It connects via a standard pet feeder companion app (instructions included in the box). Compatible with iOS and Android. Setup takes under 5 minutes on a 2.4GHz WiFi network.

Does it work if the WiFi goes down?
Yes — any schedules you've already set are stored on the device and continue running without WiFi. The battery backup also ensures feeding continues during power outages.

Can I use it for wet food?
No — designed for dry kibble only, 5–18mm. Wet food would clog the dispenser.

How loud is the motor?
The motor is quiet enough not to startle most pets. The voice recorder plays at a comfortable volume — record yourself at normal speaking volume.

How do I clean it?
The stainless steel bowl detaches and is dishwasher safe. The food hopper can be wiped with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Do not submerge the main unit.

How many portions should I set?
Each portion is approximately 10g. Most adult cats eat 3–5 portions per meal; most small dogs 5–8. Follow your vet's recommendation for your pet's weight and activity level.
